Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use InspectAnywhere, why we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

1. Who we are

InspectAnywhere (the "Service") is operated by ICPLeads, Inc., a corporation organised under the laws of Delaware, USA ("we", "us", "our"). We are the data controller responsible for personal information processed through the Service.

2. Scope

This policy applies to personal information we process when you visit inspectanywhere.com, submit a verification request, communicate with our operations team, or otherwise interact with our content and emails. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we link to, which have their own privacy practices.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Request details: subject to be verified (business, asset, property, or site), address, GPS coordinates where provided, checklist items, scope, timeline, and any free-text description.
  • Contact details: your name, company, email, and (optional) phone number.
  • Account credentials for authorised operations users.
  • Correspondence: messages, email replies, and call notes when you contact us.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, language, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps.
  • Cookies & similar technologies: see our Cookie Policy.

Information from our field agents

  • Evidence collected on your behalf during a verification visit: photos, video, GPS coordinates, timestamps, and structured notes about the subject you asked us to visit.

We do not knowingly collect special-category data. Please do not include such information in your free-text submissions.

4. Why we use it (purposes & lawful bases)

  • To coordinate and deliver verification visits you request — performance of a contract with you (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • To communicate with you about your request or account — contract / legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)).
  • To operate, secure, and improve the Service — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Cookies and analytics — your consent where required (Art. 6(1)(a)).
  • Fraud prevention, safety of our agents, and abuse detection — legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
  • Tax, accounting, and lawful requests — legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).

5. Accuracy of submissions and authority

When you submit a request, you confirm the information you provide is true, accurate, and complete, and that you have the legal right to request a visit at the location or to the subject named. We may decline or remove submissions we reasonably believe to be false, automated, fraudulent, or made without authority, or that would put an agent at risk.

6. Who we share information with

  • Local field agents, strictly to fulfil a visit you requested. Agents receive only the information needed to perform the visit safely and accurately.
  • Service providers (sub-processors), listed on our Sub-processors page, engaged under written contracts.
  • Legal, regulatory, and safety disclosures, where required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
  • Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, with appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioural advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA/CPRA. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as an opt-out request from your browser.

7. International data transfers

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process information in the US and other countries. Where personal information of EU/EEA, UK, or Swiss residents is transferred outside those regions, we rely on appropriate safeguards including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and, where applicable, the EU-US, UK Extension, and Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework certifications of our providers. You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards from dpo@inspectanywhere.com.

8. How long we keep your information

  • Request records and evidence packages: retained while needed to deliver the Service and to meet legal, tax, and audit obligations, typically up to 7 years.
  • Contact details: up to 24 months from your last interaction, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Consent records: up to 6 years as evidence.
  • Email correspondence: retained while reasonably needed to handle your enquiry, then archived or deleted.

9. Security

We protect personal information using administrative, technical, and physical safeguards proportionate to the risk: TLS encryption in transit, encryption at rest where supported by our providers, role-based access controls, audit logging, vendor due diligence, and regular review of permissions. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

10. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, receive your information in a portable format, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority (e.g. the UK ICO, an EU DPA, or the Swiss FDPIC). California and other US state residents have equivalent rights under CCPA/CPRA and comparable laws, including the right to opt out of "sale" or "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To exercise a right, email privacy@inspectanywhere.com. We will verify your identity and respond within 30 days (GDPR/UK GDPR) or 45 days (CCPA, extendable by 45 days).

11. Automated decision-making

We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects on you using solely automated processing. Every verification report is reviewed by a real person before it is delivered.

12. Children

The Service is intended for businesses and adults acting in a professional capacity. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. The effective date above will reflect the most recent update.
